Mr. Kir Kolyshkin was named leader and project manager for the OpenVZ project in 2005 to further the adoption of operating system (OS) server virtualization. He spearheads the overall development and manages all key architecture, updates and feature upgrades for OpenVZ. Kolyshkin has more than 10 years Linux experience and has long been an active open source advocate. He is a frequent speaker about virtualization technology and his 15-years career experience includes positions in information technology at Deutsche Bank and telecommunications company, Severtelecom. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Ukhta State Technical University.

greater detail on containers virtualization and bring attendees up-to-speed on the current status of efforts to include virtualization
containers technology in the mainstream Linux kernel. The session will cover how users can increase data center density many times by consolidating tens, or hundreds of virtual environments on one physical server to help control server sprawl, reduce hardware costs, while increasing utilization rates. Plus, how to control virtual server sprawl and help control the number of operating system instances to improve overall manageability.
